About Thunder
Thunder Industries Co, is one of the leading manufacturers of auto-electrical components in the middle east. The company produces a variety of electrical components for the domestic Automotive Industry, with specific focus and expertise on various types of dynamo and starters for light and heavy vehicles. The company produces under license of German company – BOSCH. Thunder Industries was originally a named TUNDAR Industries and was a Joint Venture between the government of Iran and LUCAS company. LUCAS is a British company and one of the world leaders in this field. Post revolution, LUCAS exited the country and TUNDAR Industries was acquired by IDRO, Iran’s largest governmental holding group. In 1991, AIHG acquired the company under the privatisation era and re-named the company, “Thunder Industries Co.” The company is located in the City of Rasht, with offices in almost all major cities of Iran.
About Pistons
Piston Manufacturers Toos Co, is one of the strategic suppliers of automotive pistons in Iran. The company produces a variety of Pistons for the domestic Automotive Industry, producing for light and heavy vehicles. The company produces under the license of German company – KOLBENSCHMIDT. AIHG acquired the company in 2009, expanding the groups influence in the domestic Automotive sector. Factory facilities are located in Mashad City. Commercial offices are in Mashad and Tehran cities.
